Jenna and Brett ~ Maternity

I’m not sure I have a better idea for a Saturday morning than to spend it taking maternity photos (and having breakfast at the Huckleberry in Louisville) with two of my dearest friends. Jenna and Brett are our camping and tequila buddies, and are expecting their first baby this summer. We couldn’t be happier for them!

We were deterred from our original location by a bike race (typical Colorado summer weekend), so we ended up in Louisville across from Davidson Mesa trying to find soft morning light.  I’m so loving the beautiful light in the first location we shot – Jenna’s favorite color is a bright green – very appropriate.

Congratulations you two! This is one very lucky kid:)

Leah first contacted me to schedule a newborn photo session, and I’m thrilled she took me up on an offer to do a maternity shoot as well! We were lucky to squeeze it in… she’s due this week!! Doesn’t she look amazing?!

We shot this session at Belmar Park in Lakewood near sunset. I loved Leah’s creative idea for the scrabble tiles… we’ve come up with some really exciting ideas for her newborn shoot as well, so stay tuned! You will see her again on the blog in the coming weeks.

Gift certificates are here!

Choose from a $50 mini-session (half-hour) or $100 photo session (full hour). Newborn sessions are $100, and make a fantastic baby shower gift! My pricing structure will be changing on January 1st, so now is your last chance to lock in 2011 introductory pricing!

Gift certificates are 5×7 photo prints, and you can choose an image based on the type of shoot you’d like to give – pets, families, newborns, or maternity. I will mail or email you the gift certificate along with an information sheet on how to prepare for a photo shoot, whatever works best for you.
